I have indulged my creative desires sampling many different media, but when I started bending wire, something really clicked. I began creating beaded jewelry enhanced with hand formed and forged sterling silver wirework, which focuses on unique, artful connections. As I learned more metalsmithing techniques, my forged swirls became rivets, allowing me to incorporate texture and color-enhanced metals into my collections. The art of creating channels in fused glass pendants inspired me to utilize my swirl rivets to suspend glass “tiles” creating jewelry for the home, as well as the body. I strive to combine form and function to compose works that depict the juxtaposition of logic and art. My designs result from my exploration of the patterning of shapes; and celebrate the beauty of order. I hope that their visual appeal attracts you, and their construction intrigues you.
